Launched in September 2013 and run by and for a dedicated group of media community visionaries, the Avid Customer Association (ACA)
provides essential strategic leadership to the media industry.
Whether you mix sound at live events, edit film, produce sports programming, or get the news to air, our industry is undergoing fundamental changes. Almost every aspect of how we live is digitized. Consumers are empowered to create and consume content on demand. Organizations are under pressure to become more efficient and monetize assets.
Yet current technology solutions remain siloed, and roadmaps are disconnected from industry needs. It’s clear that all of us—creators, distributors, and consumers—need to be connected more powerfully.
To ensure that Avid and the media industry is moving in the right direction, the ACA strives to provide a deeper level of communication and engagement between Avid and its customers, partners, and users than they otherwise have as part of the general Avid customer community. Members have opportunities to network with peers, identify industry trends and challenges, kick the tires on some of the new things Avid has in the works, and provide structured feedback.
